WP5 Plan and develop collaborative work areas
The Irish Environmental Protection Agency lead this work package. The objective of this work package was to prepare three common calls. The particular topics were identified from work package WP2, WP4 and WP6. A review was carried out based on experience from the first and second joint call to review legal and administrative barriers to funding trans-national programmes in preparation for the second call.

First Pilot Joint Call
The first pilot joint call on the topic of sustainable consumption and production was launched on 20 June 07. The 3 projects were funded have now started.
Second pilot Joint call
The second pilot Joint call on the topic of science into policy processes was launched in February 2008. The Projects have now started.
Third Joint call
The third joint call was launched in July 2009. The projects have now started.
