IMPEL
The European Union Network for the Implementation and Enforcement of Environmental Law (IMPEL) is an international non-profit association of the environmental authorities of the Member States, acceding and candidate countries of the European Union and EEA countries. The Association is the continuation of the informal network, which was commonly known as the IMPEL Network.

- 12 March - 'Better Regulation Cluster' meeting, Stockholm
- 3 June - IMPEL Plenary meeting, Prague

Terms of reference
A terms of reference has been drawn up by SKEP and IMPEL for a project entitled 'Improving the co-ordination of European research to support the evidence-base for better regulation'.
Cluster meeting on Better Regulation
