What is SKEP?
Work Package Leaders Group
The Work Package Leaders Group is comprised of 7 participants who take responsibility for the delivery of the 6 allocated work packages that structure the work of the ERA-NET over the 4 years. These are specifically:
- WP1 - Environment Agency (England & Wales) (EA)
- WP2 - Environment Agency (England & Wales) (EA)
- WP3 - Ymparistoministerio, Finnish Ministry of the Environment (FiMoE) and Suomen ymparistokeskus, Finnish Environment Institute (SYKE)
- WP4 - Naturvardsverket, Swedish Environment Protection Agency (SwEPA)
- WP5 - Irish Environment Protection Agency (IEPA)
- WP6 - Ministry de l'Ecologie et du Developpement Durable, Ministry of Ecology and Sustainable Development (MEDAD) and Agence de l'Environnement et de la Maitrise de l'Energie, Agency of the Environment and Energy Control (ADEME)
In addition to the responsibilities of other participants of the SKEP ERA-NET they are specifically responsible for:
- Managing, organising and co-ordinating activities within the individual work packages, e.g. joint seminars and workshops for participants
- Delivering the agreed deliverables and milestones for the work package for which they are responsible
- Regular communication with the co-ordinator on progress, developments and any problems
- Detailed co-ordination with other work packages in the SKEP ERA-NET
