What Is SKEP?
Network Steering Committee
The Network Steering Committee consist's of the science or research funding directors of all SKEP participants. The participants of the Network Steering Committee represent the decision-makers in their funding organisation who are responsible for implementing SKEP in their respective organisations. The Network Steering Committee also involve's some high-level policy-making representatives from the Advisory Board and SKEP Observers.
The Network Steering Committee is responsible for:
- Agreeing strategic activities of SKEP
- Agreeing plans and implementation of the SKEP-activities
- Ensuring good practice in planning, management, dissemination and implementation of research
- Identifying and removing administrative and legal barriers that hinder trans-national co-operation activities
- Identifying potential new participants to the ERA-NET
- Fostering links with other national and international groups or initiatives
