SKEP Network Launch
The SKEP Network has now launched. Following the success of the SKEP ERA-NET, we have now developed into a self-funded network of environmental ministries and agencies.
The SKEP network is framed around 4 primary objectives:
Objective 1: Joint call management
To identify organisations, funds and outline topics for future calls as part of the independent SKEP Network.
Objective 2: Network Development
To co-opt new core members to the research network, identify emerging funding opportunities for the network and to influence Programme Committees.
Objective 3: Network communications
To further integrate the European Research Area to facilitate ongoing improvements in science into policy processes and to support the needs of evidence-based better regulation.
Objective 4: Information and staff exchange
To improve the integration of knowledge and to develop further the systematic exchange of information and good practice in research management.
Our refreshed brand, new website and communications products are currently being developed and due to be launched in spring 2010.
Welcome to Skep
SKEP ERA-NET is a partnership of 17 government ministries and agencies, from 13 European countries, responsible for funding environmental research. The project aims to improve the co-ordination of environmental research in Europe.
