We asked all prospective applications to fill in an online pre-qualification questionnaire in advance of starting the tender process.

Developing effective policies and regulations to protect the environment is a fundamental responsibility of all European states, who invest each year in science to support environmental protection policies. The objective of this work is to identify best practice in the Science into Policy process. The work will have a 12 month duration and will be divided into two independent lots:

  • LOT No. 1 -  An assessment of current approaches towards the evaluation of the uptake and impact of  research projects and programmes by environmental policy-makers.
  • LOT No. 2  An assessment of lessons learnt in the communication and dissemination of emerging scientific issues to environmental policy-makers.

  1. Is the call fully funded? Yes, the call is fully funded with a total budget of €325k over 2 LOTS
  2. When is the deadline for the Pre-Qualification questionnaire? - 11th April 17:00 British Summer Time
  3. Do I need to fill in the Pre-Qualification questionnaire in advance of the tender?  - Yes, you will need to fill in the pre-qualification questionnaire first. This will be evaluated week commencing 14 April. We would like to issue the tender packs to successful applicants week commencing 21 April.
  4. When is the deadline for the tender? - You will have 6 weeks to submit the tender after we have issued it
  5. Do we have to submit a bid as a consortium? - No, but consortium bids are welcome
  6. Can only countries from SKEP participating organisations submit a bit? - We welcome bids from any countries that are signatories to the GATT Government Procurement Regulations. This includes all countries in the European Economic Area and the European Community.  Expressions of interest from countries not covered by the above will be considered at the discretion of the SKEP evaluating team.
