BMLFUW Colleagues
Elfriede FUHRMANN, M.Sc. Food&Biotechnology, is head of Unit II/1 (BMLFUW), Research & Innovation, and responsible for the development of the research programme PFEIL 05 (2002-2005) and integrated research programmes in connection with federal and regional organisations. She will participate in the SKEP ERA-NET by attending Network Steering Committee Meetings, participating in all work packages and leading the work to investigate emerging research issues, WP6.
Stefan VETTER, a scientific officer in the Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, Environment and Water Management (BMLFUW) for the area environment and waste management since 1997 will assist Elfriede in this task. He has knowledge in integration of research involving researches and various end users. He was and is a representative of the formal delegation to the programme committees linked to environmental research in FP4, FP5, FP6, participants in 'Science meets Policy' research programme. Both Mrs. Fuhrmann and Mr. Vetter are co-ordinators and participants in other ERA-NETs.
Manuela KIENEGGER, PhD, will be working with Stefan Vetter. Ms. Kienegger is Project Officer in three ERA-NET projects at the BMLFUW. In the SKEP ERA-NET she will be involved in all work packages as to contents and organisation and will prepare the specific contributions by the BMLFUW and BMBWK. She will attend Work Package meetings.
